2018 Human Rights Lecture held in Inn Of Court

The 2018 Annual Human Rights Lecture organised by the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission in partnership with the Bar of Northern Ireland took place on 2nd May in the Inns of Court, Royal Courts of Justice, Belfast.

This year’s guest speaker was Joshua Rozenberg QC (hon), renowned legal commentator and journalist and was part of an event-packed week for the Bar Library, who played host to the UK Supreme Court for the week beginning Monday April 31st 2018.

The theme of the lecture was: ‘Are Judges “Enemies of the People”? The relationship between judges, media and politicians in the modern age’.
