What is this conference about?
We aim to bring together healthcare, law, education, policy makers, parents and the voluntary sector to raise the profile of childhood ABI.
What is Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)?
Any injury to the brain which has occurred following birth; these may be related to illness or medical conditions (e.g. meningitis, brain tumours, hypoxia) in addition to those caused by trauma (e.g. road traffic accidents, falls, assaults).
