Action Deaf Youth Chosen As New Charity Partner

The Bar of Northern Ireland are pleased to announce that our chosen charity for 2021/22 will be Action Deaf Youth.

The charity works across Northern Ireland providing direct services to deaf children from 0- 25 years and their families. They support their users to grow in self-confidence, develop positive relationships and actively participate with their peers and communities.

Speaking about being selected the Charity’s Director Caroline Doherty commented: “Action Deaf Youth are delighted to be chosen as the Bar Library’s Charity of the Year. As a small charity, this will enable us to provide vital quality support to deaf children, deaf young people and their families in NI.”

The Charity Committee is looking forward to working with Action Deaf Youth in the months ahead and is encouraging everyone to support the charity’s Annual Christmas Tree Sale event on 05 December. More information on the sale is here.
