Charity Ball 2018 raises £25k

After months of anticipation, the Bar Library’s Annual Charity Ball 2018 took place last weekend at the Culloden Hotel. We are delighted to announce that it raised £25,000 in aid of the Welcome Organisation.

This year’s event took a different approach from previous years, with the introduction of the Silent Auction.

Prizes included a 4-night stay for ten people in the Gite at the Chateau de la Ligne in Bordeaux, a VIP trip to Anfield to see Liverpool take on Bournemouth,two-original Jason Millar paintings, two tickets to see U2 playing live at the SSE Arena in the Danske Bank Box with full hospitality and a late addition - two tickets to see Ireland play England in the Six Nations Championship at Twickenham on St. Patrick’s weekend.

The Silent Auction raised over £13,000.

The Charity Committee would like to say thank you to all members for their tremendous generosity and support for this event.
