DEPARTMENTAL NOMINATIONS

The Department of Justice is inviting expressions of interest from practising members of the Bar of Northern Ireland for a vacancy on the Family Proceedings Rules Committee and a vacancy on the Court of Judicature Rules Committee.

The Family Proceedings Rules Committee makes rules of court for the purposes of family proceedings in Northern Ireland. The Committee meets as and when business dictates but may also deal with business by way of correspondence.

The Court of Judicature Rules Committee makes rules of court with respect to the pleading, practice and procedure in, and the forms used in connection with, any proceedings before the High Court and Court of Appeal in Northern Ireland. The Committee meets as and when business dictates but may also deal with business by way of correspondence.
