Northern Ireland Legal Services Commission

In anticipation of the change in status of the Legal Services Commission, the Department of Justice will now host the Commission’s website alongside other Departmental agencies.

The NILSC website address remains unchanged. The page layouts and contents have been simplified; however, the most significant change for the profession is that there will no longer be a password-protected “Members” section. There will now be a “Legal Profession” section and Legal Aid forms have been re-organised under specific headings in the main business areas of Civil, Criminal and SEGP. These will still be available to download by practitioners as necessary.
