Pro Bono Choir Lights Up the Great Hall
One of Northern Ireland’s leading amateur choirs held the first of their annual carol concerts in the Great Hall of the Royal Courts of Justice in aid of the Northern Ireland Hospice.
The 40 strong mixed-voice choir delivered an enchanting programme of seasonal favourites including ‘Away in a Manger’ and ‘O Holy Night’. With readings from Sir Declan Morgan, Lord Chief Justice, Sir Paul Girvan, Lord Justice of Appeal, Siobhan Keegan QC, Vice Chairman of Bar Council and Arlene Elliott, President of the Law Society, the audience were treated to an evening of remarkable singing and festive readings.
The Pro Bono choir will be performing a further Christmas concert at Rosemary Street Presbyterian Church on Tuesday 16 December 2014 at 7pm-7.30pm. With free entry, the concert will be a wonderful evening for adults and children alike, featuring seasonal carols and stunning musical pieces.
