Save the Date: FBLS Belfast Colloquium 2019 : ‘Navigating Brexit – Icebergs Ahead? UK, Irish, French

Every year, the Association des Juristes Franco-Britanniques (AJFB/FBLS) organises a colloquium to enable all the legal professions to meet on a topic of general interest for the various legal worlds constituting our civil and common law systems. While celebrating its 12th anniversary, the Northern Irish section is organising our annual colloquium for the first time.

The United Kingdom is set to leave the European Union on 31 October 2019, unless a new postponement is granted. All the sections of the AJFB/ FBLS invite you to Northern-Ireland for our annual colloquium, in an area particularly concerned by Brexit. This event shall attract members of our society, lawyers and non-lawyers as well, from both sides of the Channel. Besides, AJFB/FBLS intends to closely involve eminent speakers from the Republic of Ireland, to enrich our talks and panels.

Because of the current political events in the United Kingdom, the programme is still being finalised. However, we do invite you to already mark your calendars and book your flights and accomodations to attend this event.
